Happy One-Monthiversary!
Well, as much as I dread sounding like one of those sappy, schmoopie, disgustingly sugary couples, I do want to say that Stan and I have been married for one month today. So, let me tell you, it has been a great month! I really do love being married.
I find that sometimes I still stop and look at Stan and think, "Wow, am I really married to this man?" It isn't the reaction I expect, and I'm always taken aback at the reality of what has taken place in so short a span of time. In some ways, as Stan has mentioned before, it feels like we have been married since he moved here back in September. Yet in other ways, I sometimes feel like a little girl that is playing make-believe.
That awesome can't-believe-it's-true feeling hit me again last night. Stan was working on the bills, and I was already in bed. I reached over to him, and as I did I realized that I was experiencing something that I had been wanting for a very long time. Intimacy. It was such a wonderful moment.
So, Happy One-Monthiversary, Stan! I love you!
